Candidates

Question: Who pays the placement fee?

Answer: Our placement fees are company paid. There are no fees or charges to the applicant.

Question: Suppose I am registered with other employment agencies?

Answer: That's fine. We will not interfere with any existing arrangements you may have with other placement agencies. However, should we introduce you to one of our clients, then you may not approach them directly for employment.

Question: How long must I wait before finding a job through your organization?

Answer: The availability of job opportunities depends upon the skills and qualification criteria required for available positions as determined by our client.

Question: How does your organization source candidates for available job opportunities?

Answer: Upon registration, the information of each candidate is entered into our Placement Database. When a requisition is received from a client, a query is performed using the criteria set forth by the client thus generating a list of suitably qualified candidates. Should your name appear on this list, we will contact you to seek your interest in the position.

Question: Do you notify me before submitting my résumé to a company?

Answer: Most definitely. We will never send your résumé to a client company without prior approval from you. Once we notify you regarding a possible opportunity we will attempt to provide you with as much information as possible regarding the company and nature of the job.

Question: Your organization found me the job in which I am presently employed. I am now ready to explore new horizons; can you help me to find another job?

Answer: Once we have successfully placed a candidate in a permanent position with a client organization, we cannot 'move' the candidate from the client's employ. The reason for this being that we have charged the client an administrative fee for permanent placement. However, we would be able to assist you, once you have resigned from the client's employ.

Question: I would like to explore opportunities for temporary work, can you assist me?

Answer: In addition to permanent placement services, Eve Anderson Associates offers temporary assignment opportunities for its employees including temp-to-perm. Our employees are guaranteed salary payments at the end of each month, pending the submission of client-approved time sheets. This procedure is detailed in our employment contract and is reviewed with you during the briefing session.

Question: How large are the companies I might be assigned to?

Answer: We serve companies from small, family-owned businesses to multi-national organizations in the private and public sector.

Question: How long are applications kept on file?

Answer: Registered applications are kept active for the period of one year from date of registration. Registered candidates may submit updated résumés via e-mail in a format compatible with Microsoft Word. Applications beyond one year are considered 'obsolete' and individuals would need to re-register with the organization.
